Secret Drawing Club

Oooo this is a great idea...something for the bank holiday weekend. Get on it nerds...here and here

Brian Donnelly

Unreal set of paintings from Brian Donnelly. I love all the animal-inspired hybrids...some of them are a bit durrrty tho. Not a big fan of full-on close-up nudity but then I'm an awful prude ;)

Ebenezer Goode

Eezer good, eezer good.... from dailydropcap.

Marcus Oakley Tees for Howies

Two super t-shirts from one of my favourite artists....yeah when you put it like that rain IS okay

Daguerro-hype

Really wonderful selection of vintage photographs at www.old-picture.com. These were taken from the daguerrotype selection. Check out the threads....

Love this one (and the firemen!)...

Too many fonts?

Really great article here arguing against Massimo Vignelli's opinion that we have too many typefaces. I don't think I'd be into a world where we only have twelve fonts.....

Andrea Shear @ Little Paper Planes

Birruva Easter theme for the bank holiday...Bunnies with matches, yeh why not? AND Little Paper Planes have a lovely new blog that you can get to right........about.....here

Richard Sanderson

Here's some lovely illustration work from Richard Sanderson via ML4U.

Those are some nice drawings....

Some dice inspiration for interdisciplinary design project:

Light Experiments

Full-on brilliant set of images found on flickr.

'Refraction patterns made by light passing through various glass and transparent objects.

Analogue images captured directly on to 35mm film.

This is 'lensless' photography - the object itself
becomes the lens.'

Superexpresso

Superexpresso is Italian artist Michele Angelo who's living and working in that greatest of all cities Barcelona. Some really nice illustration work and typography including a waxy treatment for The Impossible Lamp and a collaboration with my personal favourite and big-time crush Alex Trochut.

A.J. Fosik

I always get gobsmacked when I come across images of A.J. Fosik's work when trawling through me oul' stories. It's like being a park ranger in a fantasy forest of coolness, yep, forest o' coolness.

Fecal face interview here. Take that.

Pomplamoose

Found this on Fecal Face...Mixed media vibe....Nice sound...nice idea
